Thomas School, London
Thomas School had creative plans for the library which included a number of bespoke fittings requiring specialist installations and a high quality attention to detail.
The time sensitive 6 week non term time schedule of works started with the strip out of the existing library. Fully project managed throughout by GCl to keep all trades to tight deadlines for successful completion.
Specialist installation included vaulted plasterboard ceilings and a resin floor complete with map design.
Work included electrical, air conditioning, ventilation, extensive joinery and full decorating.
A resin coated timber framework created a unique stepped reading corner, complemented by bespoke booth seating with storage, and upholstered seating circles.
